For over a century women have been fighting against discrimination, demanding equal rights, fundamental control over their lives and a respected place in society.
This project shows a provocative interpretation of the quote „grab ‚em by the pussy“ by Donald Trump, deliberately showing his point of view making fun about women and their demands.
The episodic video footage of the 1970’s women’s liberation movement symbolizes the long journey of their struggle, while the yellow blocks represent Trump’s actions: disrespect, discrimination and objectification. Emphasizing this, the music confers a “Desperate Housewives“ feeling and trivializes the feminist statement even further.
“Women’s rights are human rights and human rights are women’s rights. Once and for all.“ Is this message still true? Or are women’s rights in danger?
